웬디:

Thank you very much for the award tonight. Especially to our lovely ReVeluvs who always support us and give lots of love. It’s all for you. Thank you very much. And we would like to congratulate all the artists who got the awards tonight. And.. thank you very much again tonight. Thank you.

웬디:

Well, I’m just really happy that I’m back home. And I’m excited and nervous at the same time. Cause back then, when I was in Canada, I used to be a student. And to perform here.. I can’t explain how.. excited, nervous, and happy at the same time. It’s a very special day for me, I guess.

인터뷰어:

Have you had old friends reach out and knowing about your success that you’ve had?

웬디:

Yes, um.. Actually, some of them are coming today. So I’m really nervous.

인터뷰어:

What can they expect when they come and see a Red Velvet show?

웬디:

I just want them to.. just come and enjoy. And just wanna.. Yeah, have fun with us. And boogie.

[파트3]

웬디:

I’m a bit nervous today.

타일러:

You don’t need to be nervous. Your English already sounds really normal, natural.

웬디:

I haven’t spoken in English for a long time, so.. I’m really nervous.

타일러:

So where did you live in the US and Canada? Like, how long?

웬디:

I used to go to school in Minnesota. And I.. I actually moved a lot. I used to go to school in Canada first in Brockville. It’s a really small town. Then I moved to Toronto, bigger city. Then I moved to Minnesota, USA, where my sister lives. Then I came to Korea to become a singer.

웬디:

According to Stereotypes who made the music, who made ‘Bad Boy,’ They said they.. This type of music, ‘Bad Boy,’ was from the 80s.. It was.. The style of music was from 80s and 90s. It was music from their childhood. So.. all those music, all the sounds from it, each sound from it, they try to bring it back from their childhood memories. So I think that kind of made the people to like them.

웬디:

I guess we are nervous and excited at the same time. But more excited to see our fans.

인터뷰어:

What is it like to see your US fans? Cause you guys tour all over the world. Is it a different experience? What sort of.. the most exciting thing?

웬디:

It is definitely different. The vibe I guess. And the cheers that we get. I think the vibe is the most important thing that’s different.

인터뷰어:

Do you have any musical inspiration?

웬디:

Our fans. Because of our fans, we can do different styles of songs. And because of our fans, we could be here.

웬디:

I picked Jessie J’s ‘Who You Are.’ The reason is because of the lyrics. I’ve listened to the song since I was a trainee. And the lyrics, it goes.. “Don’t lose who you are, in the blur of the stars. Seeing is deceiving. Dreaming is believing. It’s okay not to be okay.” Every time I listen to the song, I just get touched so much. And I get the energy to start back again. So that’s why I picked that song.
